QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE

1)  HOW LONG DO I NEED TO GROW MY HAIR OUT BEFORE WAXING?
A minimum of two weeks. Your hair needs to be 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch long.

2) WHAT PRODUCT DO YOU USE?

I use a soft wax for all of my services. This is not a sugaring product, but is a regular wax product.

3) HOW LONG DOES WAXING LAST?
It is different for everyone but usually a couple of weeks. By four weeks you'll be ready for a wax.

4) DOES WAXING HURT?
The first time you get waxed is always the most painful. It is a quick pain that goes away pretty fast. You are welcome to take Tylenol or Ibuprofen 30 minutes before your service.

5) CAN I WAX WHILE I'M ON MY MENSTRUAL CYCLE?
Yes. It may be more painful as your skin is more sensitive during that time of month. Please wear a tampon.

6) HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY SKIN AFTER A WAXING APPOINTMENT?
Keep your waxed skin clean and dry from 24-48 hours after your service. Avoid friction. Be gentle. Wear loose clothes. Avoid heating the area, swimming, working out, sauna, hot tub. Anything that may cause you to sweat. After a couple of days you can exfoliate the area a couple of times a week in the shower or do a dry exfoliation with a brush.

7) HOW DO I PREVENT INGROWN HAIRS?
Exfoliation is the key to avoiding ingrown hairs. Exfoliate a couple of times a week. I carry a few products to assist you in this process!

8) WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Please give me 48 hours if you need to cancel an appointment. You can do this via text or email! If you need to cancel same day please let me asap so I can try to fill your appointment. I will need to charge you for day of cancelations if I cannot fill your spot (redeeming a Groupon is part of this.) Thank you!

9) WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED AND HOW DO I GET IN?
My studio is located in an Activspace off of Leary Way NW.  Please see my contact page for specific instructions. When you arrive, dial 407 and the call button and I will buzz you into the elevator. I am on the fourth floor, room 407. Note that I run right to schedule and sometime(though rarely) am few minutes behind. Don’t panic! I know you are coming and am expecting you!
